Tuina dept, sat May 12th
Woman, 40s, 1st time. severe pain in right leg, "zuo gu chen jing tong," dislocated vertebra, pain in upper thigh (back) and buttock. Required help walking when arrived, walked with moderate pain when done, had an argument with Xiao about how to pay/acupuncture treatment when leaving. about a half hour of warm-up massage by students. Dr. Xiao used gun3 fa3 on her lower back, buttocks, upper thigh. Qi gong on Dai Mai (?). Spine twisting etc.
Woman, 40s, 1st time. headaches. Thin, looked a bit weary, otherwise healthy. Headaches occurred after not getting enough sleep. Car accident ~10 years before injuring right shoulder. Upper shoulders/neck quite tense and hard. Face massage, compressing skull, shoulder massage from head area while lying on back, massage of both arms. Didn't see what Dr. Xiao did. Was happy and appreciative when finished.
Woman, 30's (not first time?). Lower back pain when sleeping, diminishes upon rising or when massaged. Surface, right side, about 3rd/4th lumbar vertebra. Tension in calf, back outside line, otherwise fine. Standard warm-up, Dr. Xiao did vigorous massage on lower back, buttocks, and hips on affected side. Also went to acupuncture dept upon leaving.
Woman, 60s, regular, fractured Jing gu top/knee. Several months but still using crutches and cannot put weight on the R. leg. Liquid swelling in right leg, pain in shoulders and hands from crutches. I did a bit of massage but mostly talked to her.
Little boy, regular, dunno what the problem is.
